TDECU sought a modern, innovative, and welcoming office environment that felt like a home away from home. After the pandemic, they faced challenges with employees returning to work, as their existing spaces no longer supported the evolving needs of their workforce. Morale was low, and the outdated environment did not reflect the dynamic, forward-thinking image TDECU envisioned as they strive to become Texas' financial institution of choice. To address this, TDECU selected the top eight floors of a 24-story high-rise near downtown Houston for their new headquarters.

The team conducted an extensive workplace strategy analysis to understand the diverse worker personas that would inhabit the new space, crafting an environment tailored to their unique work styles. As the lead designer, I am focused on creating a workspace that reflects TDECU’s new corporate identity, culture, and sustainability goals. The design incorporates flexibility, sustainability, and integrated technology, enhancing the brand experience while promoting employee wellness and productivity. As we develop the design the space will reflect a hospitable haven that is warm, comfortable exciting with Amenity floors, co-working un-assigned floors and neighborhood floors that invite and welcomes their staff every day.
